The People
Behind the Project

Meet the Team

Our team brings deep experience across mining, gemology, and strategic operations, built for trust.

Solidônio Neto

Director, Strategic Planning & Business Operations | Brazil

Solidônio Neto is an experienced business leader with over 25 years in construction, logistics, and strategic operations across Brazil. He has successfully led multiple ventures focused on infrastructure development, financial control, and administrative leadership with a particular focus on high-capacity teams and regulatory compliance. In his role at Boa Fé Mineração, Solidônio oversees the project's long-term operational planning, working closely with legal, financial, and technical teams to align execution with investor outcomes. His leadership ensures the operation remains compliant, well-structured, and scalable as it moves from exploration to extraction.

José Marcelo dos Santos

Sustainability & Operations Lead | Brazil

José Marcelo is a licensed Brazilian miner and sustainability advocate with hands-on experience managing extraction operations across Paraíba and the wider Borborema region. He specialises in environmentally compliant mining, site logistics, and workforce management. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations at the Boa Fé site, he brings a nature-first approach rooted in his work as a certified forest beekeeper and environmental steward. Marcelo ensures that all site activity aligns with both national regulations and community engagement standards, balancing economic growth with ecological responsibility.

Professor Reinhard Richard Wegner

Gemological Advisor | Germany & Brazil

Professor Reinhard Richard Wegner is one of the most respected mineralogists and gemological authorities in Latin America. He holds a PhD in Mineralogy from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Germany (1983), where he also completed his bachelor's and master’s degrees. His academic and field work spans more than four decades, with a focus on rare minerals, pegmatite systems, and trace-element geochemistry.

Currently a senior professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande in Brazil, Wegner has led extensive research across the Borborema Pegmatite Province, the geological cradle of Paraíba Tourmaline. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles on mineralogical structures, gem formation, and rare earth chemistry, with a particular emphasis on copper-bearing elbaites. His expertise includes analytical methods for verifying gemstone authenticity and origin, including spectroscopy, chemical modelling, and mineral assemblage mapping.

Professor Wegner has presented at dozens of international gem and geology conferences, served on editorial boards, and collaborated with gemologists worldwide to advance the scientific classification of high-value Brazilian stones. He provides technical oversight for this project’s geological modelling, sampling protocols, and valuation methodology, ensuring the site's resource is validated to the highest academic and market standards.

Odúlio José Marensi de Moura

Senior Geologist & Pegmatite Specialist | Brazil

Odúlio Marensi is a veteran geologist and mineralogist with over 40 years of experience specialising in pegmatite-hosted gemstones and rare earth elements. A graduate of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, he has led geological surveys and reserve assessments across Brazil’s key gem-producing regions, including Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba. Widely respected for his field expertise on Paraíba Tourmaline, Odúlio has contributed to multiple academic studies on the geology and chemical composition of copper-rich elbaites. His work supports accurate mapping, reserve estimation, and field sampling at the Boa Fé site, ensuring exploration is grounded in scientific precision.
